Points to Remember
Sunday, October 18th – “Creating A Better Tomorrow – Today”
Today, the present moment, is the only moment in which we can change anything. We cannot re-create the past. We cannot zoom ahead to the future. But we can transcend the illusion of time and space to create an infinite array of possibilities, far better than what we may be currently experiencing.
Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity called this space before time The Silence.
Jesus referred to this same state of consciousness as “being in the world [of time and space] but not of it.”
To enter this space that we call The Silence, we must let go of anything that is not of Spirit: troubles, challenges, limiting beliefs, judgments, non-forgiveness, and the illusion of separation. Then, we hold fast to a greater vision, that which we wish to see and experience.
A simple and easy to remember tool for entering this meditative space is a countdown method adapted from one taught by the Silva Method in the 1970s. The countdown leads you into the Silence, the count-up brings you back with thanksgiving and an affirmation.
5. Close eyes and assume a meditative position telling the body you are ready. Silent state or envision your intention. There should be only brief attention given to what you don’t want. Focus more on what you do want.
4. Focus on the breath, feel the breath as it nourishes the body and opens the heart
3. Greet God, the Pure Presence of Being. This may show up for you as guides, saints, angels or ascended masters.
2. Reach for or access the FEELING OF JOY. You may use images or memories of things that have brought you joy. Feel the energy of joy expanding beyond your body, fully enfolding you and bathing your intention. (Over time, you will be able to access this feeling without the use of images or memories.)
1. Let it all go. Notice the silence, no thoughts, no images, no requests, no words. Just silence and breath.
When the nudge occurs: Affirm all is well, healed, whole & healthy and reverse the count.
1. Give thanks for the Highest Good of all concerned. (Not my will but Divine Will)
2. Return attention to heart and feeling of joy
3. Notice the Breath
4. Notice the Body
5. Affirm: I AM healed, whole, & healthy, better than before and all is well. And so it is.
Then gently you’re your eyes and prepare to return to your activities assured that the image and vibration you have created in mind is unfolding in right and perfect timing.

Announcements
At the end of the Services, on both Wednesdays and Sundays, the Zoom audio and video will be opened up to all who would like to connect with one another. As we do, it can feel a lot like when we interact in the Lobby after a Service. Know that, for those who choose, you can merely observe and not be seen or heard. We hope you will join us online this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Zoom will be used after the main service on Sundays, for a time to connect and have a virtual “Coffee Hour.”)
